David Xiong wrote:"The theory behind speed glue is that it is soaked up by the sponge layer between the rubber topsheet and blade of a table tennis paddle. The sponge begins to expand, and consequently begins to stretch the attached rubber topsheet causing increased tension and creating a "trampoline" effect on the ball causing it to bounce back quicker." From Wiki

so it doesn't soften the rubber but soft rubbers get a greater effect when used with speed glue.

i said speed glue will harden the sponge of the rubber... =_="
btw softer sponges will get a greater effect coz of more xpansion? o_O"

i removed your gigantic quote pyramids.
guys.
please learn some forum etiquette.
you don't need to quote all the time. the biggest quoting period in my opinion should be 2 quotes. if your post is a good post the forum readers will realize what you are replying to.
