He uses it once in a blue moon. It's like Jacky's backside forehand serve. It's just to confuse people. Also, did he hide the ball? The ball was blocked by his body for a second. When did he do this serve?

P.S Even though I lost the bet, it was a cheap win. (I'll give him the money anyway) Wang Hao > Wang Li Qin so I don't really care =P

chinese pros hide it partially, the judges cant call it coz youc an see it if you look really hard. still does the job of tricking people.

wang hao may beat wang liqin now but wang liqin is still the more decorated player, and arguably i bet wlq in his prime(a few years back) could beat wang hao (right now), but that's a big hypothetical.

either way wang hao totally was bad mannered at the end of their first game of the wttc men's finals; on wang hao's first set winning point, wang liqin thought wang hao made a double hit or something with his finger because the spin on his ball was weird (or at least that's what i got from his facial expression) and wang hao just walked away as if nothing happened. he should have at least said that it wasn't a double hit instead of completely ignoring such a great player. wang hao needs to learn to respect his elders ;o

wang hao did reply to wang liqin. he also said something to wang liqin too. when wang liqin talked to wang hao, wang hao did turn his body and probably talked to wang liqin but we can't see it probably due to the angle of the camera. however there was another problem with wang hao and ma long during one of the sets. at last teh ref called net but i didn't really get what happened

either way, wang liqin does have a great sportsmanship and his ability to handle pressure is really strong too. on most of the games he played wang hao, he was losing by around 4/5 points and wang hao in lead with a 9 and he still manages to caught up. i would say that wang liqin maybe could be wang hao if he was a few years younger. ma lin too maybe.

wang nan's show interviewed head coach of national team. he said wang liqin is the best in terms of mentality and ability to handle pressure.
