1st Annual Tournament Volunteers (Day 2)

so after a bumpy start today i'm making this new thread to be clear on how we should do things. first of all i'd like to thank everyone who helped out and those who offered to help out. strangely one of the problems was that TOO MANY people wanted to help out instead of too few and because of lack of organization i did not realize who i gave balls and paddles to to be refs so this thread is going to be another volunteer thread for day2 of the tournament. i'm going to give volunteer positions to whoever posts first. post how you would like to help out. thanks in advance.

TO THE REFS:
justin i really appreciate your wanting to help but since you're in average on thursday will pretty much be mostly dedicated to average, i don't want you to be all over the place. also i'd like to add that i noticed justin kept down the score with pen and paper as well as chris, not sure if justin, jacky, or andy did this. i think we should follow justin's example and write down the score just in case you somehow forget. i've ripped off some of the tournament advertising posters so all you guys have to do is provide a pen to write down the score and maybe a folder/book to support the paper.
also, another ref that will not be named complained how the players were yelling at him for not keeping the score correctly and that he won't be helping out by refereeing tomorrow and all i can say to that is if you wanted to help you should pay attention to the games instead of being so easily distracted by other people. the writing down the score helps decrease this distraction in my opinion.

all right so tomorrow when we bring all the tables up, each ref will do what they did on tuesday, hold the paddles and balls for that table and call new people to play once the results for one bracket is complete.
hopefully it'll be more organized tomorrow.

oh yea i would like to ask if there is going to be club next tuesday because some people said there is no club due to spring break. if we dont have club on next tuesday, that mean we have to finish the expert tournament after the break?

I thought spring break isn't until thursday o.O

yeah tomorrow's gonna be all avg. we won't have enough time to play expert and i don't want to rush the tournament. so i guess us "pros" will have to wait till tuesday =P

There will be club. Why would there not be? There is no special agenda on Tuesday.
