You should allow the company to assemble it for you, chances are they are going to cut it better than you do yourself. I'm not really sure what half gap is.

I think the half gap is for people who use penhold. Its a gap between the rubber and the handle. Its used to prevent people who use penhold from touching the rubber with their thumb and index finger. I'm not sure if that is what is it referring to though. rabbit

Yes that is probably what they are referring to.

It's different for everyone. I'd prefer not to have the gap because I feel that grip is better... when I play penhold for fun that is.

yeah that's right. some people dont' like to put their backhand fingers on the rubber so they make a gap. the paddle you're using right now you put your fingers on the rubber so you might as well not get a gap. in theory if you have a gap you're getting less for your money XD (less rubber) i personally would not get a gap. i think it would feel more comfortable putting your backhand fingers on the rubber.

it doesn't really matter since you won't be hitting with the place your fingers are anyway. same for shakehand. after i play with a rubber for a while you can see the rubber fade where my index finger always is.

when i play penhold with my shake hand the sweat makes my fingers slip off the rubber, thats what i meant

jacky and justin. when you guys post can you please post according to the topic.

topic: "custom racket help"

iJacky: "lolz i get pretty sweaty wen i play too... =X"

justin90876: "same. i hate it when my paddle gets warm and wet..... feels weird.."

stop spamming to get your post count up. it's not about quantity it's about quality.

although the posts were in reply to a previous post, that previous post did have something to do with helping ivan with his custom racket. your posts were just superfluous.
