I have seen him pulling his pants up everytime he lose a point or make a mistake but this is a bit excessive:

At least he has nice legs. I can't think of why a person would wear short shorts with bad legs.

I think it is to intimidate the opponent

Chen WeiXing's habits are so weird. He sighs and slouches when he misses the ball or table , points and shouts at the net when he hits the net, sometimes he even gives the opponent a thumbs up or in this case, pulling up his pants.
